 The Physical Environments module of the Edexcel A course provides an opportunity for you to study a number of core physical geography strands at an advanced level. It includes an introduction to earth systems (plate tectonics, intrusive and extrusive processes and landforms and the impacts of weathering on the earth surface) as well as indepth studies of coastal and fluvial environments. Written Examination, 1 hour 15 minutes There will be six structured data response-style questions. There will be 2 questions set on each area of study. You are required to answer three questions - one from each section. Each of your answers for the three questions will be marked out of 20. The total for the unit will be 60 marks.
