The variety of natural environments that exist around the world reflect a number of factors, including climate and soils, which in turn affect the vegetation and animals that exist in these environments. As well as investigating the physical conditions that have resulted in the distinctive characteristics of each environment this unit will also enable you to explore the increasing impact that humans are having in these places, for example through deforestation.
