Unit Summary

Concepts Covered

Resources

The worlds population is over 6 billion and growing rapidly. But where do these 6 billion people live? Why are some places densely populated, whilst other places have few people living there? These are just some of the questions that we seek to explore in this unit of work. You will also investigate the reasons for population change and how and why this various between MEDCs and LEDCs.

The population of a place may also change due to the migration of people (either into or out of the place). We will explore the reasons for and consequences of people moving from one place to another.
