Weather and Climate has a great impact upon our lives. Not only does it influence the environment around use, it also affects our choices of where we live, what we wear etc. People who study the weather (meteorologists) have an important task, measuring and recording features of the weather to help give forecasts. 

In this unit you will discover what aspects of the weather can be measured and the instruments that we use. You will also explore how and why temperature and rainfall varies at a variety of scales. This unit of work involves practical fieldwork studying microclimates around school - enjoy!
