Florida hit by Hurricane Charley - August 2004

The Florida region was declared a major disaster area after it was left devastated in the aftermath of Hurricane Charley which hit on Saturday August 14th. The death toll reached at least 16 and the damage was estimated to be between $10-$15 billion.
