Snowdonia Field Trip

This field trip takes place as an introduction to A2 geography and normally takes place in June/July of the lower sixth. Students stay at the Bryn Gwynant Youth Hostel and throughout the four day trip carry out a range of activities and visit a number of places. These include:

bullet Nant Ffrancon Valley  
bulletGlaslyn Corrie              
bullet River Study - along the River Afon Trawsnant and Afon Glaslyn (Data collected September 2001)
bulletVisit to the Dinorwic pump storage H.E.P scheme
bulletTourist study of Llanberris
bulletStudy of Tourism and the Snowdonia Railway.
